  • Small (aka Thumbnail): default = 150×150
    • Crop thumbnail default = checked
  • Medium:  default = 300×300
  • Large:  default = 1024×1024

Site Image Sizes To Use

  • Site Icon:  512×512
  • Site Banner: Kadence recommended 200×80
  • Site Logo (jpg format type)
    • 512×100 (with following settings avoids need for separate mobile logo)
      • logo max width: desktop 600, tablet 450, mobile 350
    • desktop using 300×300, 250×250, or 200×200
    • mobile using 200×200, 150×150, or 100×100

Image Sizes for Categories & Tags

  • Thumbnails:  1200×628 or 1200×675 (or match preferred Featured Image size)

Image Sizes for Posts & Pages (Kadence Theme)

  • Featured Image:  1200×628 (WP suggested) or 1200×675 (16:9).  Avoid images of just text.
  • Regular Content image
    • 1200×900 (4:3) or 900×1200 (3:4) (WP suggested)
    • 500×375 (4:3) or 375×500 (3:4) (untested)
  • Small image: (WP suggested 150×150)
  • Hero Image (full screen):  2880×1500 (untested)
  • Slideshow (full screen):  2800×1500 (untested)
  • Gallery:  0 (auto width) x 1500 (untested)

    • 1200×675 (scales to existing wprm 16:9 size of 480×270)
